unfortunately I think Apple is too comfortable on top of their iPod throne, and will hold off until school season or even the holiday shopping season with new iPods, in fear of cannibalizing their iPhone sales. I really hope they have some excellent plans in store that will prove me wrong, as I'm also anxiously awaiting "the next" iPod. I only have an intel Mac Mini, so as soon as I can afford it (possibly before) I will be buying a new Mac laptop. :)

It's an exciting time to be an Apple acolyte. I only wish I were in the market for a new Mac this year. The problem is, the darn things just last too long. Can't justify buying a new one if the old one still plays World of Warcraft just fine.

The iPod on the other hand...I am definitely buying a new iPod this summer. I am just waiting for the release of what I expect to be an iPhone-like, touch-sensitive widescreen iPod, hopefully at the Mac expo in July.
